I’ve used these collars for years and I highly recommend them. They are impervious to everything and look great on the animal. The reflective band almost looks like it’s powered internally! It even glows in the direct sunlight, it’s just so bright. Don’t be afraid to buy one that’s too big/long because it’s very easy to cut to length. The hardware is beautifully made, no rough edges and the finish lasts seemingly forever. The description says not to use it to tie your animal out and I can imagine it may stretch a little over time but I don’t do that myself.My dog loves rolling in nasty, dirty things (read: POOP), and I needed a collar for her to wear that is easy & quick to clean. I also wanted it to be reflective, because she's a dark colored dog, and I worry about visibility when we go out at night. This fit the bill!The only downside I can see is that it doesn't breathe at all due to the nature of the material. She wore it snugly (not overly tight, but with the proper fit), and developed a sore like an absess under her collar on the back of her neck. She was fine after a week of keeping her collar off and the wound clean and medicated with neosporin. But now I keep the collar loose so that doesn't happen again. I don't attach a leash to it, so I'm not worried about her backing out of it on walks. And she can't get it off on her own. It's just for her to be able to wear her tags and be more visible, and easy to clean.Like me, you may want to keep this collar on the loose side and use something else for walks, or don't make your dog wear it all the time so the skin can breathe.Very durable! Both my boys love the water. I can’t keep them out of it. All other collars have been stinky after a while. These hold up well. Both dogs are 75 plus pounds.My dog and I love this collar. It doesn't stink, and you don't have to wait for it to dry out, which is great when your dog goes swimming every day. It can be adjusted to multiple sizes, thankfully, since my dog has lost some weight and we've had to tighten it up. It's also so smooth that it's easy to slip over his head without having to unbuckle it. I walk my dog in the winter and at night, so we really appreciate how reflective this collar is.The only negative is: over time the buckle has left black marks on the reflective strip, but it's no big deal.I've tried the Ruffwear Headwater collar before, and, it's not non-porous like this collar, so it did end up stinking after a year. This one is still stink free almost a year later!Cute collar and seems very durable. When I put the collar on Lucy she seemed to "notice it" more than her fabric collar she had been wearing. I'm not sure if it was from the plastic texture of the collar pulling on her hair or if it was from the heaviness of the metal buckle that she may not be used to. I'll have to wait and see how comfortable Lucy is with this collar but this just may end up being a collar not suitable collar for a dog with longer hair since it may cause pulling. I'll update my review should anything change!Bought this for my 25 lb dog. A coworker of mine bought a dublin dog collar for her spaniel and she loved how durable the collar was and that with it being waterproof, it doesn't hold any smell. My dog is conveniently between two holes on the collar but it's not the end of the world. I'd say I'd gladly buy another one but because it's so durable, I don't think I'll need to!My review is phenominally simple: how well do you see the two black labrador retrievers out in the corn field or crossing the road in these two photos? And how well do you see their collars? When I first got this collar I was a bit worried the reflective material didn't look right, but testing out in the deep darkness of farm country last night proved their worth.I bought this collar for my German Shepherd who just can't stay out of the pond. I had to constantly remove her other collar because it was always wet and I didn't want her neck to get irritated from the wet collar. This Dublin collar is awesome. It fits great and it seems to dry instantly. Plus the reflective strip is wide and I can easily find her when she decides to run off and play in the tall grass after dark. I highly recommend this collar.Our dog is a lab who loves 'mucky' walks. This is the collar for her! Washes easily with no smell. A perfect purchase for us.We have a male Chesapeake Bay Retriever and the large fits him perfectly. Love the reflective stripe for walking him at night. He loves the water and this collar stays clean and doesn't stink!Quality not as good as previous models sold at veterinary clinics for the same price.Very reflective. Very good quality for my 65lb dog. Also waterproof doesn’t smell. Good pricesoft, flexible, easy to clean, not cheaply made.
