I bought it for a 15 lb dog and should have bought a light lead but it still works great, it’s just a heavier leashEasy to use, let’s my dog have more area to move when needing to be restrained.Just what we were looking for to use with our dog at the beach. Easy to install and untangle. Worked perfect.Got this for our Belgian Malinois. Works great. Gives him plenty of room to run and chase his ball.Easy to twist into ground. Holds my puppy in place and don’t have to worry about him running around. Will be awesome for when we go camping.We have a 53 pound hound that is very strong, and pulls when on a leash. She also needs to go out to do her business several times a day. Because of these factors, we decided to try a stake and lead for her out the back of our lanai rather than the around the block walk, sniffing at every blade of grass four times a day and more. We were concerned that she would be able to pull the stake out, but it has held surprisingly well, even when the ground around the stake is saturated with rain. The lead could be longer if you were going to leave the dog on its own, but this length works fine for the quick out and back in. Our only negative comment concerns the metal clip that attaches to the dog collar. Because it is hung outside, it gets wet, and it is then very hard to open. We've put some WD 40 in hopes of keeping it from rusting. Other than that, this has been a good buy.My dog only weighs 12 pounds so it did not have to be real heavy but I would be comfortable with a dog weighing 80 pounds using the same restraint. Goes into the ground rather easy and never gets caught with the dog goes in circlesItem is not as described - came in a different colour (which is fine), however it does not include the shock absorbing spring as advertised throughout the product page and in the title, which is why I purchased this product over others. I'm quite disappointed by how misleading this is, and feel like I got a cheaper version of the advertised product. Happy to amend my review should the seller reach out with the appropriate product.i just received this item. unhappy! the spiral hook looks of great quality and everything came in a nice pouch, which was a nice touch however the tie down cable is red, not silver and doesn’t have the shock absorber on one end as advertised... this is why i made the purchase. going back... what an inconvenience!My 5 month puppy weighs only about 23 lbs. She saw a rabbit and quickly ran after it, causing the key ring to break. The ad indicates that it should hold a 120lb dog.. would not recommend this product. I am disappointed that the product was not as advertised.We have a 120 lbs dog and this set is more than suitable to keep her where we want. The wire is very resistant. The value for money seems great. Very happy with the purchase.Bought for my dog who gets a scent in her nose and roams. I am going up north and needed to keep my dog at hands reach. works great leash is not to long but long enough for me. thank you
