My dog kept knocking it over so I had to put a weight in the bottom. For a large dog this is not a good slow feeder.The bowl works for lab mix and Belgian malinois. Slows them down and keeps there head elevated as well. Only drawback is that the bowl tends to unwind/lower from its position, would be nice if there was a way to lock it in place. Minor inconvenience though.Our French Bulldog loves her zee dog bowl. It’s very easy to use. You just twist to go up and twist back to go down. It’s easily able to be cleaned. As for the review that says it topples over, I have not experienced this issue. It works great for our French Bulldog and I hope it works out for your pet!It does go to the height that you wanted to but my poor 15-year-old dog when she’s eating the bowl is spinning down. Because there’s no locking mechanism once you’ve reached the desired height so any movement just loosens up the bowl. Very disappointedIt’s great bowl for my dog.Bowl has rubber back and safe in microwave. My beagle use the lowest level but the high is really flexible for almost any size dog up to pointer or German Shepard.When I received my package, the bowl was oily but after hand wash was not.I’d give it negative reviews if I could!! Absolute junk!!! For the price of these things they should be amazing but instead they are garbage made from cheap flimsy plastic, threads suck! Wanted to love these bowls because they look amazing and different from anything else I’ve seen. There is nothing to lock each tier in place and I had to have mine as tall as possible and they just spin right back down or if they don’t spin back down one side will get pushed down further then the other because the threading is awful then it gets stuck. They are also way to light weight would not take much to tip over and I’m only talking about if they are extended to their max when they are not extended they seem ok. If you need bowls for a large dog these are not it save yourself the hassle and the money. Look on Etsy they have lots!Im a fan of this company, the design, ergonomics and quality is amazing.
